Rosie Carr (b. 1987) is a multidisciplinary artist and gardener based between Margate, Kent, and Maldon, Essex.
Current research interests include:
Drought tolerant plants
Queer botany / ecology
Levels of biodiversity in managed gardens
‘Staying with the trouble’ Donna Haraway
Non-human protagonists
Collective joy / noise / sabotage as a means of dissent and a way to protest
The electricity that flows through plants and can be transported into soundwaves
Plant-based Science Fiction
Medieval instruments eg. recorders, as powerful objects charged with mystical energy
